The Athletic teams at King High School had an outstanding year. All of our teams had a winning record:

         Varsity Football  7-3

         Junior Varsity Football   4-3

         Boys Soccer  7-4

         Boys Varsity Basketball 9-5

         Boys J.V. Basketball 9-1

         Boys Tennis  7-2

         Baseball  6-4

 

         Girls Volleyball 11-1

         Girls Varsity Basketball 8-3

         Girls J.V. Basketball 5-2

         Girls Soccer  11-1

         Softball 8-2

         Badminton 10-2

         Coed Track-   3d Place in League

         Cheerleaders- 4th Place in League

Girls Soccer, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, and Track and Field made the play-offs this year.

The Track team qualified 14 students to represent the Public School District (District 12) at the State

Track Championships held at Shippensburg University. The following students represented King:

Anthony Bishop finished 5 in the State in the 100 meter dash and the boys 4x100 (Bishop, White, Morris-Sharpe, Butts) finished 4th in the State.
